Trip to get Mandy & Tana
My good friend (and fellow Pom lover) Carole, came with me to bring Mandy & Tana up from Washington. This is a brief chronicle of our trip to Seattle to pick up Mandy & Tana from Seatac Airport:
Loading into the Van:
BACK AT HOME
These are some snapshots from the night they arrived (no fancy photography here -- it was 3 am)... I will be adding some more next week (they won't be fancy, either...hahaha).
Arriving at home to check out the new digs:
Meeting Titan, Tango & Bijou (actually Tango isn't visible here because it takes her a while to warm up to new additions, so she was keeping a pretty low profile):
And mugging for the camera:
And checking out the house:
And off to Vernon!
The day after we picked Mandy & Tana up from Seattle, we had to go to Vernon to finish a basement suite, so I took them up with me for the weekend to get to know them:

Mandy is a gorgeous 3 year old sable. She is 7 pounds, and has a long, thick coat, excellent proportions, and a very cute face. I first fell in love with her picture online. She is an excellent mama, and has gorgeous puppies. Puppies pictured here are from her litter with Titan, born May 8/06. We will be expecting a litter from her & Gizmo in November/07.
Like Tango, she has many champions in her 5-Generation pedigree, including Weehearts and Chriscendo. She has a lot of colour behind her, including black & tan, orange, black, cream, chocolate, and wolf sable.
This is Bodhi, Mandy's sire.
Bodhi is a 5 lb. orange sable,
with a thick, full coat and
teddy-bear face. He comes
from top champion bloodlines
including Wee Hearts, Twin
Pines, and Chriscendo.

This is Mishchief, Mandy's dam.
She is dark sable.
She is champion grand-sired,
from Scotia and Sungold's lines.

In this picture, Tana is clipped for the hot Oklahoma summer:
Tana has some nice champion lines behind her, including Mercers. She is barely 5 pounds, and light cream sable. She has an adorable personality, and thinks she's still a little puppy. Possibly the sweetest personality of any of my dogs, just a doll and a complete love-bug. She had her first litter on Sept. 15/06, and she has very tiny puppies. We are expecting a litter from her & Gizmo around September 16/07. Pictured here are her puppies:
